Sharamore House Bed & Breakfast : About Us
Your hosts at Sharamore House Bed & Breakfast, John and Sue, have been in Connemara since they were both very young and have a great love and knowledge about the area.
Sharamore House is family run with Sue, a qualified chef by trade, responsible for looking after guest needs in the B&B. John runs a well known Deep Sea Angling Boat Charter and is also Sharamore House’s breakfast chef. They have 3 kids Lucy, Sarah and Peter who help in the house - Peter, the youngest is first mate on board the angling boat.
John and Sue bought Sharamore House in 1993 and started their Bed & Breakfast business in 1994. Since then they have added to the house considerably and now offer the highest standards of B&B guest facilities.
They are both keen hill walkers, holding Mountain Skills Certificates, and will be able to advise you on most of the routes in Connemara if walking is your thing.
John is a keen fisherman and very knowledgeable about the different types of Game Angling, Coarse Fishing and Sea Angling in the area.
Lucy and Sarah are both mad on Horses and work for Mrs Brookes at Erislannan Manor Riding stables.
Stanley the terrier is well know to all guests at Sharamore House as
it is really he that runs the place.
